is Colorado's largest body of water formed by the Blue Mesa Dam in 1965, becoming the first large dam built along the Gunnison River and is located in the Curecanti National Recreation Area, in Gunnison County Colorado.

We offer a varity of fully guided/outfitted fishing trips on Blue Mesa Reservoir from the Spring time into the Fall months. Our home is in Sapinero, Co. and most of our trips are based out of the Lake Fork Marina
Standard trip length is 4 hours, with the option to extend to 6 hours.
We accommodate 1–6 anglers using pontoon boats or an 18 ft Lund Sport Angler. Trip style and techniques are determined by target species and seasonal conditions.
Most trips begin around sunrise, though alternate start times may be arranged.
We welcome anglers of all experience levels.
Trophy Lake Trout (April–June)

Kokanee Salmon Trip (May–Aug)
Blue Mesa Reservoir is one of the most productive fisheries in Colorado. This guided trip is the BEST for any and all anglers! May- Aug, and is action packed trolling. The reservoir is vast at 9,000 surface acres and the water is pristine. The No. 1 fishery management priority is Kokanee Salmon. Colorado Parks and Wildlife stocks more than 3 million fingerlings every year.
Targeting kokanee salmon while Trolling using lead core line and downriggers. Trout are often caught as well. 1-6 people. 4 or 6 hour trips. Fun for any age or skill level angler
Multi-Species Trip
We target whatever is actively biting using trolling, casting, and jigging techniques. Species may include rainbow trout, brown trout, lake trout, yellow perch and kokanee salmon. Mix up the day, keep some fish, see the lake... CATCH SOME FISH
