Under the Radar!

sorry for the lack of fishing reports guys!! dang it has been a while! Simply put we at GSO have been fishing under the radar! I guess i’ll just tell you, this has been some of the best Salmon fishing i’v seen in all my years on BM. our clients have been bagging limits everyday with ease. 20-60 fish days with out playing bumper boats. Andy on the east end of things has been providing salmon and trophy brown trips and Ryan on the sapinero side has been producing salmon limits and deep water trophy lake trout daily. yesterday, had 20+ salmon by 9am and finished with a few 10+ lb lakers and had all the browns small lakers we could handle. last week was able to catch one 30+lb mac and a handful of double digit class fish for some of my lucky clients…
Morrow point is in full swing and guided a 40+ fish day today with the classics mulit technique multi species trip. I love that place. you just never know… Triples w/ 3 differnt species!!! where else dose that happen? again, it is the trip of a life time down there! ok, now back to just fishing, avoiding the crowds, the “hot spots”, the “mad dogs” and fame!

The objective, "Trophy Blue Mesa Lake Trout". Nothing Less

The storms have be brutal the past 4 days.. high wind, cold temps, lots of rain/snow, barametric change = inconsistent fishing…. But  still have been able to meet the goal, “Guide trophy lake trout” only have one Skunk this season on Macs.  Only 2 of my  fish are under  ten pounds! Yesterday  Brad Salazar Caught this blue mesa 23lbr. his biggest CO fish ever!

Today I caught this 40in fish that weigh 37lbs. I don’t think this fish was even close to it’s best body condition. she’ll be 40+ this summer.. Hope some sucker soaker or a DOW gill net dose not get ahold of her! LET BIG FISH GO PEOPLE!
